The "HVY" strainer is designed for a high safety Factor. Baskets are made with a thick perforated Material as straining screen or back-up support When fine wire cloth is required for a straining screen, solid welded basket seams and heavy handle welded solid to basket (solid welding in lieu of weak industry normal spot welding).

SA 106 Gr B seamless carbon steel pipe or SA516 Gr 70 carbon steel plate (large units).
FLANGES: SA105 forged steel, ANSI. BASKET: 304 stainless steel, (optional carbon steel).
OTHER MATERIALS AVAILABLE
(body & basket) 304 & 316 stainless steel (all or wetted parts), alloy 20, monel 400, nickel 200,
hastelloy B and C 276, inconel, incoloy, zirconium and titanium.
